As the name points out, the functionality this application has to offer revolves around data backup. You see, you can use FileBackupEX to create jobs. When you create a job, you can specify what data will be backed up, where it will be backed up, and when it will be backed up (manually or according to a schedule). FileBackupEX will run the jobs you create and thus will back up (and sync) your data.

Download an archive, extract its contents, run the FileBackupEX executable, and a setup wizard will show up and help you install FileBackupEX on your Windows-powered machine. In a few simple steps that take little time to complete you will have FileBackupEX up and running on your PC.

Two panels are presented on the application’s interface. The one at the top lists all the jobs you create. The one at the bottom presents logs; select a job and all the logs for that job will be presented on the panel down at the bottom.
A File Menu and a toolbar with buttons for several functions – that is what you will see at the top, above the two aforementioned panels.

Creating a job is not a difficult task. You will have to enter the following details: job name, job description, source location (the data that will be backed up), target location (where the data will be backed up), target structure, pick if you want to enable scripting, choose if you want to manually start and stop jobs or if you want to set up a schedule. Once you’re done creating a job, FileBackupEX will do as instructed. If you set up a schedule, it will use that schedule to automatically back up the data you select, to the location you indicate.

Easily create backup jobs and then conveniently back up important data. Thanks to FileBackupEX, it is very easy to back up data.

Pros

There is nothing complicated about installing FileBackupEX on a Windows PC. The dual-pane interface is very easy to use. Creating backup jobs is an effortless task. Jobs can be run manually or based on a schedule.

Cons

At the time of writing this FileBackupEX is marked as a Beta product.
